In 2012, she won two Zee Rishtey Awards for Favorite Behen as Gunjan and Rachana (Mahima Makwana) and Favorite Nayi Jodi as Gunjan and Mayank (Ankit Gera).〔〔 In 2013, she was nominated in the Indian Telly Awards for Fresh New Face as Gunjan.〔
In September 2015, Roopal participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 as a wild card entrant. She came along with Neha Marda and Anita Hassanandani but got eliminated a week later.
